Why this? Why now?

Here's the scoop on why I've chosen to start up a travel blog. Over the last 5 years, our life has significantly changed, to say the least. We've relocated to the midwest from the east coast, changed careers, adopted new hobbies, added to our family, started on a journey toward career advancement... and it all happened SO FAST! Historically, we refueled our souls with camping, hiking, running, racing, international travel, sailing, spa weekend getaways, B&B's, and luxury resorts boasting strong adult beverages and delicious food that you ate with sharp steak knives while sitting down lingering over every bite.
Now, with two young children (4 & 1), we're finding it ever more difficult to escape the demands of our busy, stressful, sometimes overflowing, lives. So... I turned to the internet and travel agents and fellow parents for advice on "vacationing with children". Most said... "it's a trip, not a vacation" when you're with your kids. That's sad. So sad. Our passions and lifestyle can't be put on hold for 18+ years as we grow our family, so after a lot of searching and reading and learning and planning and re-planning, we opted to start our adventure anew.
Enter Traveling4Wards.... that's us. The 4 of us. Two big people & two little people, finding our way to new entertainment, new enjoyment, & new experiences. I can't say it's been easy, that's a lie. It's been challenging, trying, and it's taken a lot of resoration, recalibration, and reconsideration. Things always go awry but taken in stride, together, we always find joy, happiness, and some fun! So, by sharing our experiences, I hope you too will find ways to enjoy traveling with your young children.

Your list of favorite ways to recharge sounds amazing. Camping, hiking, running, sailing, and international travel offer so many different forms of adventure. Adding spa weekends and luxury resorts creates a nice balance between activity and relaxation. Bahamas Vacation Packages Cataula could fit beautifully into that lifestyle.
